So anyhow, I dusted off my Corel Painter, and have been trying out the different styles and looking to see how they're similar and yet differ from the actual stuff itself.
First up... a digital watercolour which I only happen to like the left side of the picture, wishing I had not put the girly in. *Bweh*
Next, I did a quick squiggle with Painter's charcoal and chalk of Batman - owned by Warner and DC Comics (forgot to put that on DevArt) - I do believe I like the digital charcoal... I don't stain my fingers! Lol, but I don't have as much control at this point - tactile sense really is darn important.
And lastly, it's my current try with painter's gouache style. Still a wip atm, I sort of had the thought to do a howling wolf in mourning. Hmm.... (poor wolf)

Borders UK, is closing down- (Another 'what a pity') and I saw three books I was really tempted to buy. (4 actually, but I'm not counting that one) Though my brother would probably think me mad to buy those books. For one, they're heavy like nobody's business, and two... lugging them back home to M'sia in future seems a bit ridiculous.
(=3=) *But they're going on half price with another 20% off till Sunday...* And they'd really make nice reference books for cats, horses and undersea life. Booo....
